It was the 1st year of the SHRGs. During the Lilac City Mopars Unlimited Car Show (7-12-14), SHRG Mandy Bartelme showed up wearing the uniform shirt and a pair of WHITE shorts.
Mandy was the first Hot Rod Girl to wear her shorts in white during a public event. It made such an impact on everyone that we soon adopted them as the official uniform color when the SHRGs wear shorts.
Even though the shirt logo has changed a few times, it is still to this day the uniform color.
